Originally published in 1870, this essay by the American anarchist and political philosopher Lysander Spooner is here reproduced. This should be read and throughly studied in every civics and American history class in the country. A brilliant look at the American political system and can be applied to many other countries as well. I put Spooner right up there with Tolstoy!
