Dr. M.H. Hakimi is the Vice Chancellor, Faculty of Natural Resources and Desertification at the Yazd University, Yazd, Iran. He is also a Faculty in Natural Resources and Desert Studies, University of Yazd, Iran. Dr. Hakimi did his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Plant Science and did his doctoral work in Mycology from University of Pune. He is engaged in 5 research projects and has more than 25 research publications to his credit that pan the journals at the National and International level.
J.G. Vaidya
Late Prof. J. G. Vaidya was a distinguished professor in Department of Botany at the University of Pune. His deep engagement and perseverance in Mycology, as an area of study, achieved him wide recognition, both at National and International levels. Heparticipated in about 80 National conferences, 14 International Conferences, 56 University Refresher courses. Through his lifetime, he was invited to serve as a resource person in different institutions and had opportunities to work with esteemed mycologists as Dr. Stapler. It would be significant to highlight his specific contribution as the only expert in Aphyllophorales identification from the State of Maharashtra.
K.R. Ranadive
Dr. K.R. Ranadive is an Assistant Professor of Botany at the Waghire College. He is also a Contributory teacher at Department of Botany, University of Pune, Pune. Kiran has a Masters and Bachelors in Botany as well as Education and is also a recipient of the prestigious CSIR-UGC NET Fellowship. Kiran has got Ph.D. in Aphyllophorales. He has developed the website www.fungifromindia.com on fungi as a part of his doctoral research. He has also contributed to the Vernacular Encyclopedia for Children or the Marathi Kumar Vishvakosh.
Jamaluddin
Dr. Jamaluddin is an Ex Director and Head of Forest Pathology Division, Tropical Forestry Research Institute at Jabalpur. He has a Masters and a D.Phil. Degree and a diploma in French. He has also served as a Member of Several Academic Boards and Societies, providing the necessary support towards planning and accomplishment of academic and research initiatives. He has been felicitated with several awards for his contribution to academic field.
P.K. Jite
Dr. P.K. Jite is an Associate Professor at the Department of Botany, University of Pune, Pune. She has managed about 7 major research projects on Mycorrhiza. She is working with 5 doctoral and M.Phil. Students, who are on the verge of completion and is guiding 2 post-doctoral students in Botany. She has been actively engaged in academics and has participated in more than 35 conferences and has about 35 National and International publications to her credit. She continues to be actively engaged in the academic field.
