About the author
Maddie Frost is the creator of the Wombats! early-reader graphic novels and picture books that include Bear in a Bathrobe and Shared Space. This story was inspired by her own granny, who always called her “chickadee.” Maddie lives in Massachusetts with her family. She’s a dog person.
