About the author

Malene Freudendal-Pedersen is Associate Professor in Sustainable Mobilities at Roskilde University, Denmark. She has an interdisciplinary background linking sociology, geography, urban planning, and science and technology studies which she has been using to investigate praxes of mobilities and their significance for (future) cities. She is the co-manager of the international Cosmobilities Network, and the co-founder and co-editor of the new journal Applied Mobilities (Taylor & Francis). She is the author of the book Mobility in Daily Life: Between Freedom and Unfreedom.

Katrine Hartmann-Petersen

is Associate Professor in Planning and Mobilities at Roskilde University, Denmark. She has a transdisciplinary background investigating the interconnectedness between modern everyday life, urban planning, and mobilities. She also has experience as special advisor in municipality planning departments. She is a member of the Cosmobilities Network taskforce and book review editor of the new journal Applied Mobilities (Taylor & Francis).

Emmy Laura Perez Fjalland

holds a master’s degree in Urban Planning Studies and Geography, and is currently a PhD student at Roskilde University, Denmark, and the Danish Architecture Centre. She studies how sharing and collaborative economic cooperations could be part of Danish urban governance and urban planning strategies. She is specifically interested in how different collaborative economic cooperations, communities, and organizations could help perform, develop, and run municipal key activities within environment and welfare. In the context of urban and mobilities studies, she pursues concepts as co-creation, communities, commons, governance, platforms, and process designs.
