About this ebook

Geek Life: Book Two

It’s no secret cosplayer Felipe Suero is looking for his happily ever after—in his love life as well as his career. He’s getting his degree so he can quit his miserable job and start his own costume business. Now he just needs to land the sexiest silver fox to ever attend a con.

Trask Briscoe’s life revolves around staying clean and sober, running the Magick Den, and attending local cons. His rules haven’t left much room for romance. But he can’t deny Felipe has caught his complete attention. He’s just not sure what he can offer a man so full of joy and sass.

When Trask finally accepts Felipe’s offer for a cup of coffee, he soon finds himself on a second date and a third. Between cosplay projects and roleplaying games, they discover a deeper connection than either of them expected. And Trask realizes that sometimes rules are made to be broken.

Now Felipe just has to convince his family—and Trask—that Trask has more love to offer than he ever dreamed.

When I read A Little Side of Geek last year (the first book in Marguerite Labbe’s Geek Life series) I fell in love with this author. The characters are adorable and have terrific chemistry, and Marguerite Labbe has wonderful way of telling a story. She builds everything so gradually that before I knew it I was completely immersed. Totally addictive! When I saw Felipe and Trask were going to get their story told in A Whole Latte Sass I couldn’t wait to read it. Yes, it was everything I was hoping for… but there was a ‘whole latte’ stuff I wasn’t expecting. I’m terrible about reading blurbs but even that wouldn’t have prepared me for what goes on in this story. In addition to Trask’s memories and confessions from his past, we get to know a few of the characters in his support system. There are some events surrounding the folks from his NA (Narcotics Anonymous) group that I would have benefited from a bit of warning before I got into this book. I still would have read it, and I’m very glad I did, but parts of it were intense. Just know that this is a romance with a happily-ever-after, and Marguerite Labbe crafts a gorgeous story here. Parts of A Whole Latte Sass are intense and powerful, but 100% worth the journey. I’m looking forward to the next book which will surely be Dakota and Brenden’s story, and (again) I can’t wait.
