This is the final book in the Compass Boys series, but the first one that I have read. While there is mention of previous "couples" in the series, this book can be enjoyed without having read the other books. The only thing that you have to know about the previous characters is that they are all involved in non-traditional relationships. Since Doug is part of a family where non-traditional is sort of the norm, it came as no surprise to him that he had feelings for both his best friend, TJ, and his boss, Rosalia. This was a menage romance that involved all parties, meaning it wasn't just about Rosalia. Enjoyable story that not only dealt with TJ's difficult past while still focusing on the romance between TJ, Doug and Rosalia.

I loved this book. This is Doug's story and the last of the Compton
family/Compass books. Doug and TJ have been friends forever. Doug has been
working with a storm research/chaser group as a videographer. When the team
needs another member, Doug goes to TJ. He knows his best friend needs an
escape from their small town and his abusive, alcoholic father. TJ agrees
to go on a whim. When TJ meets the team, he is immediately taken with the
sweet and sexy scientist leading them. Problem is Doug has been interested
in her for quite a while. Will this destroy their friendship or can it
bring them even closer together in ways make them face feelings that have
stayed hidden for years?
