About the author

Marie Lotz is the author of three successful crime fiction novels, Roofdier (The Huntsman, 2021), Polsslag (The Artisan, 2022) and Maalkolk (The Bowman, 2023). Marie lives in Pretoria, South Africa, and she has one son who is a chef at a boutique hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg. She holds an honours degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Johannesburg. Before Marie became a full-time author, she was an editor in various fields for many years.
