Mark Sedra, PhD, is executive director of the Centre for Security Governance (CSG), a Canada-based think-tank focused on peacebuilding and statebuilding processes in fragile, failed and conflict-affected states. He is also president of the Security Governance Group (SGG), a research-based consulting firm. Mark is an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Waterloo and Balsillie School of International Affairs. His current research focuses on post-conflict statebuilding and peacebuilding, with an emphasis on security issues.
Geoff Burt is a senior fellow at the CSG and senior associate at the SGG. He previously worked as a researcher at the Centre for International Governance Innovation. Geoff’s work focuses on security sector reform, peacebuilding, international migration and transnational organized crime. He has worked as a consultant for various governments, internati onal organizations and non-governmental organizations.
