This book provides a comprehensive overview of, and best practice evidence-based guidance on, the prevention and management of aggression and violence by patients with mental disorder across a variety of different settings and specialist patient groups. General aspects of violence management are covered, alongside both pharmacological and psychological interventions. Masum Khwaja is a Consultant Psychiatrist at the West End Primary Care Network, London, UK, a former Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London, and Chair of the London S12(2) MHA and Approved Clinician Approval Panel.
