Dr Md Enamul Hoque is a Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Dhaka, Bangladesh. Before joining MIST, he served in several leading positions in some other global universities such as Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at King Faisal University (KFU), Saudi Arabia; Founding Head of Bioengineering Division, University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC) and so on. He received his PhD in 2007 from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore. He also obtained his PGCHE (Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education) from the University of Nottingham, UK in 2015. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) certified by the Engineering Council, UK; Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering (FIMechE), UK; Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA), UK and Member, World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology. He has published more than 100 articles, more than 10 books, over 75 book chapters, and over 100 International Conference presentations/proceedings.
Dr. Abhishek Sen is an Assistant Professor at the Calcutta Institute of Technology, Uluberia, Howrah, West Bengal, India. He is an accomplished academic and researcher with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering. He has over six years of teaching and six years of research experience. Dr. Sen's research interests are wide-ranging, encompassing traditional and non-traditional machining approaches, additive manufacturing, synthesis of materials, simulation and modeling, and optimization methods. He has contributed to more than 13 International journals, 8 book chapters, over 23 International conference proceedings, and 1 book. Dr. Sen is a lifetime member of the International Association of Engineers and has served as a reviewer for esteemed International journals and conferences. His paper on "Modeling of Laser Welding of stainless steel using artificial neural networks" was awarded the best paper in ICRAEM 2022. In addition to his research accomplishments, Dr. Sen has played a key role in the development of Calcutta Institute of Technology's Virtual Labs, serving as the Nodal Coordinator for West Bengal, India.
Dr. Debal Pramanik is an Assistant Professor at the Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science & Technology, Rajpur Sonarpur, West Bengal, India. He obtained a Ph.D. in Engineering at Jadavpur University, Kolkata, in the Production Engineering Department. His research interests include Advanced Manufacturing Technology, more specifically Laser Beam Machining, Additive Manufacturing, and Electro-Discharge Machining. Dr. Pramanik published 5 (Five) SCI and 4 (Four) SCOPUS indexed Journals, 12 (Twelve) International Conference Proceedings, and 5 (Five) Invited Book Chapters. Dr. Pramanik received financial aid from TEQIP Phase II and RUSA 2.0 to conduct his Ph.D.research. Dr. Pramanik received a Medal in Master of Technology from the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (Formally known as West Bengal University of Technology) in the year 2015. Additionally, he has qualified for the GATE examination. He was also invited to the 40th Matador Conference on Advanced Manufacturing Technology (MATADOR-2019) for a paper presentation at the Zhejiang University of Technology, Hangzhou which was jointly organized by The University of Manchester, UK, and Zhejiang University of Technology and Beijing University of Technology, China.
Dr. Nilanjan Roy is an Assistant Professor at Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science & Technology, Rajpur Sonarpur, West Bengal, India. He completed his Ph.D. degree from Production Engineering Department, at Jadavpur University. His research interest is in laser-based material processing, additive manufacturing, and advanced joining processes. 10 international journals (4 SCI, 5 Scopus & 1 peer-reviewed international journal) have been published by him. He also presented 15 research articles at various international conferences held in India and abroad by institutes of repute. He visited Zhejiang University of Technology, Hangzhou, CHINA to present his research work at the 40th MATADOR conference in July 2019, organized by the University of Manchester. He has also contributed 7original research articles as book chapters in different edited books. He has received an MHRD GATE scholarship to complete his PG course. He also got a DST PURSE & UGC Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship to complete his research work as a Ph.D. scholar. Basic Thermodynamics, Thermal Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing Processes, Applied Thermodynamics, and Operation Research are the major topics of the undergraduate courses that he has taught at the institution.
Professor Azam Ali is Director of the Centre for Bioengineering and Nanomedicine, Division of Health Sciences, University of Otago, New Zealand. He is an internationally recognized biomaterial scientist, has strong research and teaching expertise in biomaterials and biomedical engineering. He obtained his PhD in biomaterials Science and engineering (2000) from USM. He worked at the Crown Research Institute (AgResearch, the largest New Zealand Govt. Research Organisation) as a senior scientist and research leader (2003-2013). He joined the University of Otago (UoO) in 2013 as director of the Centre for Bioengineering and Nanomedicine. He has secured many national/International grants, worth NZ$12.5 million for 20+ projects. He has been leading (director) the bioengineering academic program at UoO, since 2014. He has published over 140 refereed articles, holds 24 Patents (21 granted as full patents), invented 6 medical devices (commercializing over 23 countries worldwide), and 12 Book chapters. He served as editor-in-chief (J. Mat Sci. & Eng.), and editorial board member of Bioactive Materials.
