Iwas surprised to read the melissa anderson wasn't the nice girl she portrayed.I think it was jealousy on her part because melissa gilbert was michael landons pet, she shoud it n screen I remember the exactepisode. It wS/the episode where mary gets to go to minneapolus "The pride of walnut grove"she makes a reverence to laura (melissa gilbert)that pa loved her more. Which viewers would remember that the next time you watch a episode you'll see the favortism.

Very disappointed in the book . I should have listened to the other reviews. She just keeps telling about the episodes that I have already watched. I want the behind the scenes stuff .

I love Mary ingalls. She's beautiful and she has a great heart.
About the author
Melissa Anderson is an Emmy–Award winning actress known to millions for playing Mary Ingalls on the NBC television series Little House on the Prairie, which aired from 1974 to 1983. She played First Lady Megan Hollister in the 2006 miniseries 10.5: Apocalypse. Born and raised in California, she lives with her husband, television producer and screenwriter Michael Sloan, and their two children.
