Mike Chaplin is known in his native Britain and internationally as a painter, etcher, writer, teacher and television personality; he first came to public attention with the launch of Channel 4 TV's hit show, Watercolour Challenge. His work is represented in private and public collections, including HM Queen Elizabeth, the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, and the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge. He combines his career in art with communicating his knowledge and enthusiasm to artists in workshops in the UK and internationally.
