About this ebook

You’re invited into the world of young teen Kate Ferris and her friends—where they train horses, solve mysteries, and learn to live out their faith together!

Kate’s search for her missing horse leads to more questions than answers.

The upcoming Hood River County fair promises to be the perfect place for Kate to show her new filly, Sapphire. But then the unthinkable happens: Sapphire disappears. Kate and her friends scour the countryside, put up flyers, and even get the police involved, but Sapphire is nowhere to be found. When they knock on the door of an old house, they meet a suspicious man who demands they leave the property. Kate, Tori, and Jake don’t give up looking for clues, but they find themselves trapped—and more desperate than ever to find Sapphire before she’s sold. Will the mysterious man decide to help them or only put them in more danger?

Follow along as relatable Kate finds out what it means to be faithful—to her friends, to her family, and to the horses she loves. Always up for adventure, this energetic teen learns to rely on God as she meets challenges, solves mysteries, and forges friendships. Through it all Kate is encouraged by her hard-working parents and her bond with her little brother Pete, who is autistic.
