About the author
Moya Cannon veröffentlichte fünf Gedichtbände, zuletzt Keats Lives (Carcanet Press, Manchester 2015). Sie wurde 1956 in Dunfanaghy in der Grafschaft Donegal geboren, verbrachte viele Jahre in Galway und lebt jetzt in Dublin. Sie studierte Geschichte am University College, Dublin, und Internationale Beziehungen am Corpus Christie College, Cambridge. Sie wurde mit dem Brendan Behan Preis und dem Lawrence O'Shaughnessy Preis ausgezeichnet und war Herausgeberin von Poetry Ireland Review. Im Jahr 2011 war sie als Heimbold Professor of Irish Studies an der Universität von Villanova, Philadelphia tätig. Sie ist Mitglied von »Aosdána«, der Akademie der Künstler, Irland.
