About this ebook

Being a girl is not as easy as it seems. You have to fight against your own people, against society, and still hope that justice will be served. You have to understand everything on your own and console yourself at the same time. One moment, you feel like ending it all, and the next, you convince yourself that everything will be fine.

Fighting for your own rights against your loved ones, only to find yourself trapped within society’s boundaries. Society expects a girl to never forget her "place," but they themselves forget their limits. To awaken the public, to bring them together again, it always takes a new case. Even today, countless rape cases occur in the country, yet there is no one to raise a voice.

About the author

Author Nandini Nagul hails from Bijapur district of South Bastar. The seven years she spent in Navodaya Vidyalaya proved to be a turning point in her life.

As a child, she used to listen to stories from her mother, and after joining Navodaya Vidyalaya, she read many stories available in the library. In class VII, she wrote a story narrated by her mother for the first time. Her teachers and friends loved it and encouraged her to write more.

During this time, a dream was born in the author's mind - to become a famous writer in the future. She wrote many stories and novels in school, but never thought of getting them published.

Finally, giving a new dimension to her dream, she published her first novel Rajneeti: Love and War in the year 2019. This is her second novel, and we hope readers will like it just as much.
