Der Band entstand im Rahmen des Forschungsvorhabens "Kommentierung der Fragmente der griechischen Komödie (KomFrag)" und stellt den zweiten von insgesamt elf Teilbänden der Kommentierung sämtlicher Testimonien und Fragmente des Aristophanes dar. Die in Band 10.2 der kritischen Ausgabe von Kassel und Austin (PCG 3.2, S. 1–32) behandelten Testimonien sind hier thematisch-chronologisch strukturiert. Dieser Reihenfolge entsprechend werden die Testimonien im vorliegenden Band übersetzt und kommentiert. Im Zentrum des Kommentars steht dabei der Versuch, die Nachwirkung des Aristophanes auf die spätere Literatur in deutlicheren Konturen hervortreten zu lassen.
About the author
Dr. Natalia Kyriakidi hat am Seminar für klassische Philologie der Georg-August-Universität Göttingen promoviert und später am Seminar für klassische Philologie und Philosophie der Universität Zyperns gelehrt. Sie ist im Pädagogischen Institut und dem Mittelschulamt Zyperns als Lehrerausbilderin tätig gewesen. Zur Zeit arbeitet sie als Gymnasiallehrerin. Sie ist Mitglied des Internationalen Theaterinstituts (ITI).
