If you ever met a Troll, you would know it. They are short hairy creatures with large noses and huge ears. But this is unlikely to happen because they are very shy, and live only in the remote parts of Norway. Despite what you may of heard Trolls are intelligent, agile and generous, at least to their own kind. Living in the woods in log cabins, hunting and fishing, they keep themselves to themselves and rarely venture far from home. At least they used too. They still live in Norway but now only in the North, inhabiting caves, tunneling deep underground, excavating vast caverns, digging a labyrinth of tunnels, and are now rarely ever seen above ground. Why? ……. because of the Dragons. A tale of Trolls and Dragons, from Norway to the very heart of London, from ancient times to the present day.
About the author
Neil Gibson is the father of two boys who wanted him to write a story for them, that, and a New Year's resolution he managed to keep, led to his first novel - The Troll Scrolls. He was inspired by a trip to Harry Potter Studios and parts of his past - Trips to Stavanger in Norway and to London, and the incredible opportunity to fly in a Chinook helicopter a few years ago.
