While I respect the experiences and opinions of the author, the clear bias and anger towards the people and entire country made me really sad to read. China is a country far different than the societies and cultures of Western countries. Whil points about their government, the secrecy, and constant surveillance are true, I do not feel they are as rooted in evil as the author projects. My experiences during my own brief time in China produced a far different perspective of the country than the one author reflects on- a point of view I found frankly shocking. I felt this short book was more of a long, extremely biased rant than an objective, rationalized account of one's experience living and working abroad.

For a person whom had traveled, lived and watched their news. It's so untruthful. I may agree with a few section in the book but 90% are outright false and didn't happen at all.

Thanks Author for giving us lots of information about China and Chinese tradition. I shall look for more information on other websites. If it is true I am not going to use Chinese electronic devices any more, because I believe they could access my personal data, email, banking etc. if I login through the devices manifacture at China. I may be monitored by Chinese and my personal data might be stolen by Chinese.
