The Hitchhiker Killer!! What a start to this new series. Non stop action and danger around every corner. Lots of snarky dialog and a story that keeps you guessing. I never saw the conclusion coming that’s for sure. In the middle of the wilderness two people have to learn to depend on each other. Trust is the key. “Dark humor is your thing. I’ll try to remember that.”

I was intrigued from the first words, and as Sayles and Elias embarked on a mission that turned to a fight for survival against Mother Nature, not just the serial killer they were searching, I became even more invested. Sayles has major walls that are reinforced by Elias and his occupation- which makes complete sense once you learn her history. Sparks fly however, and emotions guide both characters.
