About the author

Dr. Noor Azrimi Umor is a Senior Lecturer in Microbiology at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. He obtained his Ph.D. from Universiti Putra Malaysia. His research interests are in the areas of environmental microbiology, food microbiology, and biochemistry.

Dr. Nahrul Hayawin Zainal is a Senior Research Officer at the Engineering and Processing Research Division, Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), Selangor, Malaysia. She obtained her Ph.D. from Universiti Putra Malaysia. Her major is Industrial Biotechnology, and she is currently working with the Malaysian Palm Oil Board under the Ministry of Plantation, Industries, and Commodities. She has contributed significantly as Technical Expert and Secretary in many technical committees, working groups, task forces , conference organizations, and industrial training in MPOB and scientific committees at the national and international levels.

Abu Zahrim Yaser is an Associate Professor in the Chemical Engineering Programme at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). Dr. Zahrim is the founder of the Kundasang Compost Living Lab and currently serves as the Chairperson for the Research Cluster (Engineering and Technology). He obtained his Ph.D. from Swansea University, United Kingdom.
