O. Henry (1862 - 1910), pseudônimo de William Sydney Porter, foi um dos maiores contitas norte-americanos. Escreveu histórias de toda sorte, destacando-se principalmente pelos seus contos de faroeste (criou o personagem icônico Cisco Kid) e de Natal, como O presente dos Magos.
