About this eBook

“Storytime and read-aloud gold. . . . A dino-delight.” —Kirkus Reviews (starred review)

One-osaurus, two-osaurus, three-osaurus, four . . .

Look there, in a child’s bedroom, where some prehistoric pals are gathered in a counting game. Nine dinosaurs are playing a singsong rendition of hide-and-seek—but something isn’t adding up. Where is number ten? Stomp, stomp, stomp! CHOMP, CHOMP, CHOMP! Ready or not, here he comes, and he sounds . . . big! With bold numerals, an array of dinosaurs in comical poses, and a humorous twist at the end, this tribute to a child’s imagination makes learning numbers a gigantic treat.

About the author

Pierre Collet-Derby is the author andillustrator of Barnaby Never Forgets. He also recently illustrated The Boulder Brothers: Meet Mo and Jo by Sarah Lynn and Goodnight Selfie by Scott Menchin. Pierre Collet-Derby spent most of his childhood doodling, particularly during math class. Growing up, he always knew that he would make a living drawing characters from his imagination. He studied animation in Paris and has worked for more than ten years in the animation and video game industry in France, Canada, and the United States. He then realized that illustrating and writing children’s books was his true calling and now spends his days drawing pictures, writing stories, and strumming his guitar (or ukulele, depending on the mood). Born and raised in France, Pierre Collet-Derby now lives in Canada.
