«Ley agraria» es la tesis que Pedro Figari presentó en 1885 en la Universidad de la República de Uruguay para obtener el grado de doctor en Jurisprudencia. Su director de tesis fue el doctor Carlos de Castro. En ella, Figari recoge las observaciones sobre la ley agraria de Uruguay y expone sus conclusiones. Pedro Figari Solari (1861-1938) fue un pintor, abogado y político uruguayo. Escribió ensayos sobre arte y política, pero, sobre todo, es una de las figuras más destacadas de la pintura latinoamericana. Como abogado y político, Figari defendió la abolición de la pena de muerte; como artista, fue deudor del romanticismo alemán.
