When an important member of the local Chinese business community comes to her with some inside information, Kate is plunged into a case involving illegal immigration and prostitution. Her investigation is hampered by a missing officer - Kate's new colleagues dismiss him as a malingerer, but Kate has reason to believe something more sinister may have happened to him.

Acerca do autor
Judith Cutler lives and works in Birmingham. She used to teach at an inner-city college, but is now a part time lecturer for the University of Birmingham's Continuing Studies Department. She is also the secretary for the Crime Writers' Association.
