Una gran obra de Ian Thomson, pulcro en su prosa y con una investigación detallada, esta biografía es imprescindible para complementar los textos de Levi. La historia no es sólo del escritor italiano, sino que describe una de las épocas más oscuras de la humanidad.

Ian Thomson, a journalist and translator of Italian fiction, was one of the last writers to interview Primo Levi. Thomson devoted ten years to this biography. He lives in London.
