JOHANNA AVATO is an economist consulting for the World Bank's Human Development Network for Social Protection and Labor (HDNSP). PAOLO BOCCAGNI is Research Fellow at the University of Trento, Italy. TENDAYI BLOOM is a PhD student in the School of Law at Queen Mary University of London, UK, and Research Associate in the Centre for the Study of Migration, also at Queen Mary. ROSALIND BRAGG is Director of the UK charity Maternity Action. JOHANNES KOETTL is an economist at the Human Development Department of the World Bank's Europe and Central Asia unit.
