What if I told you that corruption is not just a distant problem whispered about in the halls of
power, but a force that shapes our everyday lives? From the smallest inconveniences to the
largest betrayals, it seeps into our society, stealing opportunities, crushing dreams, and
fueling injustice.
I’m Rakesh Singh—a writer, thinker, and believer in the power of change. I’ve poured my
passion into this book, born from my years of observation, frustration, and unwavering hope
for a better world. As an active supporter of the India Against Corruption Movement led by
Shri Anna Hazare, I witnessed firsthand the fire of rebellion against systemic corruption. This
book is a continuation of that fight—a voice for those who refuse to be silent.
The spark for this book ignited when I rediscovered an unfinished manuscript from 2011. It
reminded me of the struggles we’ve faced and the battles we still fight every day. Through
this book, I aim to expose the truth, provoke thought, and inspire action. It’s not just a story
of corruption; it’s a story of resilience, courage, and the belief that change begins with us.
This is more than a book—it’s a movement, a call to arms for those who dream of a society
built on fairness and honesty. By the time you finish reading, I hope it ignites a fire within
you, one that refuses to dim until we build a world free from the chains of corruption.
The journey begins here. Are you ready to take the first step?
Hello, my friend and fellow book lover!
Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Rakesh Singh, an alumnus of Kendriya Vidyalaya, IIT
Kharagpur (West Bengal), and a proud graduate of the University of Calcutta, with a Python
certification from IIT Madras. Currently, I reside in Gurugram, Haryana, and work in an
MNC.
Writing has been a passion of mine since my school days, where I poured my thoughts into
poems that earned recognition and praise. One of my proudest moments came when the CEO
of my current company appreciated a poem I had written. Yet, despite my love for writing,
the idea of publishing a book never crossed my mind—until a few months ago.
While revisiting old files, I stumbled upon an incomplete piece from 2011, centered on
corruption. It took me back to a pivotal time in my life when I was an active social media
supporter of the India Against Corruption Movement, led by Shri Anna Hazare. That
movement lit a fire within me, and this book is a reflection of that spirit, brought to life in
today’s context.
I hope this book not only connects with you but also inspires positive change in your life.
