About this ebook

I wrote ROAR ERIC for all those who may never take an Economics course; do not aspire for an appointment to the President’s Council Of Economic Advisors; seek not to occupy a prestigious Chair in the Economics Department of The Massachusetts Institute Of Technology; nor become one of the Governors of The Federal Reserve.
This book explains many of the fundamentals upon which Economics is built and adds a layer or two on top of the foundation. I make it real and applicable to each of our lives. Let’s get back to the basics, learn some things you will remember and will find interesting and useful, and leave the stratospheric mind-bending to those who believe they know what Economics is all about.
We have more important things to do--like saving our nation.

About the author

Randall Parr has practiced law since 1981; taught Economics and Government for years; works with law students in the area of Constitutional Law appellate litigation; enjoys learning, teaching, and thinking about the Founding of the United States and the War For Southern Independence (American Civil War). He expresses his true Hoosier roots as an avid fan of motor racing and through coaching and following basketball. His first book, RARE ERIC, analyzes the game of basketball and its connections to life. His current book, ROAR ERIC, examines the fusion of Economics and Government. It is through this lense that we learn about ourselves. Mr. Parr and his wife of forty years have three sons. They all live in central Indiana, a conveniently short drive to both the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and lots of great basketball venues.
