About the author

Rhianna Pratchett worked as a journalist before moving into the video games industry, becoming an award-winning writer on titles including the Tomb Raider reboot and its sequel. Along with writing for DC, Dark Horse, and Marvel, she is the author of the Fighting Fantasy novel Crystal of Storms. She is also a screenwriter and producer for TV and film. Rhianna lives in London with her partner and ever-growing herd of cats.

Paul Kidby is best known for being the “artist of choice” for Sir Terry Pratchett, with whom he started working in 1993. He has illustrated many Discworld publications, including The Art of Discworld, The Last Hero, and Designing Discworld. In 2019 he illustrated Good Omens, written by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. He lives in the UK.

Gabrielle Kent worked as a graphic artist on video games before becoming a senior lecturer in games development. Now a full-time author, her work includes the Knights and Bikes series. Gabrielle lives in the Northeast of England with her husband, daughter, and agoraphobic cat.
