About the author

Rob Burton is author of several books and former professor of English. Living In Chico, California, he often visited the local brewery and became acquainted with its craft beers, the personnel, its business model, and history of Sierra Nevada Brewery Co. He completed the first book written about the young business in time for the brewery's thirtieth anniversary as it was on the verge of establishing a second brewery in North Carolina. He and his wife Leili retired to Nevada. Their daughter Sofie works as Retention, Progression, Completion (RPC) Advisor at University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
