The book was confusing, had very little action, and that cliff hanger? Seriously Thurman? I've waited all this time and now I have to wait another year? That is extremely underhanded way to get us to buy yet another book. I want to give this four stars, but I just can't do it. This book only has 177 pages. From cover screen to ads at the end. Nightlife has 306. You literally released half a book. That's no way to treat fans like me who own all of your books, including the trickster series.

It was great, same as always. I just wish I didn't have to wait a year to know how this fight ends. I'm use to everything being wrapped up in one book so there's some closure. But, I guess hanging on this cliff for a year with be ok too. Super Ready for the next installment!

I'm happy with the change up in story pattern. Although I'd rather just wait for a longer book with less filler pages, I'm still happy with this series. Keep it up
