A Palermo ci si consola ricordandosi di avere il sole e il mare. Poiché nelle classifiche sulla qualità della vita nelle città italiane, Palermo figura stabilmente intorno al centesimo posto, questi due elementi – sole e mare – rendono l'umiliazione più sopportabile. Eppure, se sulla presenza del sole si può concordare, sul fatto che a Palermo ci sia davvero il mare non esistono prove.
