About the author

Robin Jackson was born and raised in Montana. He entered the Army as a Russian linguist and went on to learn about and love computers in his work in the military intelligence community. After leaving the Army, Jackson worked in the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) industry, eventually building a successful consulting company in that field. After selling his company Jackson became an Internet pioneer, buying ownership of the first Web Hosting company in the State of Montana. Jackson has received numerous awards for his classified and unclassified work and holds several computer certifications including CompTIA Security+, and Wetstone's Certified Hacking Investigator and Certified Steganography Investigator. Jackson was a member of the Williams Twins Forensics team which won the Department of Defense's 2010 DC3 Forensics Challenge and the EC Council's International Civilian team award.
