About this ebook

I have stayed a month in China, in 2010, and, based on this awesome experience, I have decided to put together my impression, some information and some images that I believe are interesting, and that can give a good overview of some interesting aspects about China.

One of the main objectives is to give a macro perspective about the strong Chinese economy, and to show some key success indicators related to that. For a better comprehension of the numbers about China, I have made a comparison with USA, the biggest economy in the world, and with Brazil, one of the biggest emerging markets. I have updated the metrics in the middle of 2018 with the best information available that I could find, and that are, basically, from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the World Bank; and even though the economic scenarios change from time to time, this is an interesting part of.

I would say that this book is like a travel album with some very interesting technical information about the people and economy of China.

Good reading and enjoy the trip!
