I started writing when I was in 7th grade; I realized I can write well when I was appreciated by my school principal “it was a poem on teacher’s day”. But if only life was that easy to just like something and pursue it. All the pain and downfalls I went through made me realize that I needed something to hold on, something that can rescue me from this tiring life, of course I met a few people who turned up as Guardians but Writing, Photography, Sports, and Art are the skills I relied on. They carved me into this kind, straightforward, strong yet broken and chaotic person that I am. Life can be harsh but I’m glad I’m turning those experiences into poetry, prose and penning down all those complex emotions as life lessons, they will remind me how I’ve had felt and I’ll know I don’t have to make the same choices. I’m an ordinary person who learnt that companionship is like dusks, full of colors and I’m glad I could add those colors to my pallet. I write because it heals the wounds in my soul.

Author of A Harmonious Discord and a student of Masters in Political science (University of Delhi), Mansi was born and brought up in Delhi. She is an English literature graduate from the University of Delhi and has completed a Masters course in Philosophy from IGNOU. She has been active in speaking since her school days by participating in various drama, debate, and speech competitions. Her interests include painting, daydreaming, spending time with stray animals such as dogs, skywatching, and stargazing. Poetry is a therapy for her, a vent to express her thoughts and feelings.
The poems presented in this volume are metaphoric bits related to her personal life experiences, understanding - based on the observation of the world, worldview (which is still evolving), as well as an attempt to explore themes from Nature and human life.
P.S. -- All these pieces have been composed either during her daily commutes to the University (through the metro), or during the night (after 10 pm):D
Hi, This is Natasha Marion Minz a 3rd year student from School Of Liberal Arts XIM University Bhubaneswar and a resident of Odisha. I’m an easy going down to earth person with a love for nature and deep religious and cultural roots. My philosophy can be reflected in my literary works, i follow a simple goal: “ give your best shot today, and let god plan for you tomorrow”. Since my childhood I developed a great interest in sketching and literature. Most of my write ups are related to human emotion, connection, hardwork and uplifting themes apart from that i love spending my leisure time alone, with my guitar, because “ when music fails the rhythm of our music speak them out”.
A young girl with a magnificent mind wishes to stitch the broken hearts of the readers with her dusty poems and ink pens.
I’m a high schooler, and as I despise my society, I wish to mold them with my art.
I aspire to master the art of poetry, I would love to have you all read my poems! These poems are about “Love”.
In my vision, I believe people need to love everyone and love can cure all the curses, though it is a double-edged knife.
I hope you can find, thy love, thy peace, thy answers, thy fantasy…by reading my dearest poems.
I love you, farewell!
My beloved readers.
