Not bad, but not great. It's just enough to possibly get you interested in the story, but for me, it was entirely too short and had absolutely no character development for what happens or enough for me to care about any of them going forward. For me, the series is a pass even at $4 for the entire series due to brevity of the volume, no reason to care about the characters, or compelling plot hook to make me want to read more.
