Sabine Achour ist Professorin für Politische Bildung/Politikdidaktik am Otto-Suhr-Institut für Politikwissenschaft der Freien Universität Berlin. Thomas Gill ist Leiter der Berliner Landeszentrale für politische Bildung und war zuvor langjährig in der außerschulischen politischen Bildung aktiv.
