I’ve been hoping that Gregory would have his story & find a woman who could bring him to his knees & he’s certainly found her in Monique. I love the author’s books & she’s one of my must read authors, this book lives up to her high standard. The characters are so very well portrayed, the plots are well paced & draw you in from the start. I also love her attention to detail & knowledge of the era. There are plenty of secrets & misunderstandings as that all add to this engrossing read My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read
