Saifullizan Tahir dilahirkan di negeri Johor. Arkitek landskap yang turut mengendalikan perniagaan pegurusan acara dan latihan di Damansara. Hasil tulisan beliau yang lain termasuk cerpen, sajak dan esei pernah tersiar di Dewan Budaya, Mingguan Malaysia dan Berita Minggu. Penglibatan dalam bidang kesenian termasuk sebagai juri teater untuk Kakiseni Boh Cameronian Awards 2003-2007. Antara anugerah yang pernah dimenangi adalah Hadiah Sastera Kumpulan Utusan Exxon-Mobil dan Hadiah Sastera Darul Ta'zim.
