Ende der 90iger Jahre hatte der sprachanalytische Ansatz der Zeichendidaktik von Michael Meyer-Blanck die symboldidaktischen Konzeptionen von Hubertus Halbfas und Peter Biehl aus semiotischer Perspektive gegengelesen und damit einen Paradigmenwechsel hin zur gegenwärtigen Performativen Didaktik verantwortet.
Dieser kommunikative Ansatz, der gerade Nicht-Gläubige resp. Latent-Gläubige bereits inkludiert mitgedacht hat, wird hier erweitert auf Anders-Gläubige und in Dialogform auf das Interreligiöse Lernen zwischen den Religionen (Judentum, Christentum, Islam) angewandt.
