If you’re looking for a quick but very sweet story, then I can recommend this story by Sarah Hadley Brook. Courted is a charming, feel-good novelette that shows the old ways weren’t so bad after all. It is lust at first sight for Kevin and Mac, but rather than immediately jump into bed they take their time getting to know each other. It is a delightful journey with lots of laughter, sweet words, and hot glances. The writing is superb and carries you through the pages very quickly. Kevin and Mac are lovely characters, and the chemistry between them is palpable. The story has a very satisfying and steamy ending.
