Believing in Christmas again Vera goes alone on the vacation that her and her Ex were supposed to go on together. Traveling alone to Finland around Christmas wasn’t what she imagined her holiday to be. After talking a walk and getting lost, Pekka “the Elf” finds and saves her. But to warm her up they got to get close and personal. Best vacation ever! The following year, Vera decides to try her luck again, wanting to find Pekka again. But with no way of contacting him, it might be a lost cause. Then shows up the deranged Goat man or Anti-Santa Clause. But her escape from him brings her to the one she was looking for all along. Both stories are well written and very fun and entertaining to read.

This is a very different kind of Christmas box set. I love the characters and the story line. With the reindeer still coming, she tried to run but the snow was too deep. Then a man grabbed her and pressed her against a tree to protect her. When the reindeer passed, he admonished her for dressing so inappropriately for the weather. Pekka, the stranger, carried Vera to her cabin. He gave her blankets while he built up the fire. But she could not get warm. Only skin-to-skin contact would bring her temperature back up. They snuggled and she warmed. The storm had hit, so Pekka had to stay with her. It looked like Christmas Eve was going to be so much better than she had imagined! Where had Pekka come from? Dressing warmer this time, she took a short walk but had no luck finding him. Being a magnet for trouble, Vera runs into a crazy goat man and has to escape. But this turns out well since it allows her to find Pekka again! This time, they have had some time to realize what they had together. Will they want to take things further? Will Vera get her Christmas Wish after all? These were well written stories, and fun to read. Enjoy!

Sweet couple of short stories. Christmas, elves and steam, what a combination. Enjoyable, light read.
