First part is great. The 5 scenarios however do not belong in a non-fiction book the way they were written. The use of overly patriotic phrases and the past tense give the impression of reading a fiction novel (which McEwen is more than capable of doing; I love the Sniper Elite series). However, the way they are presented goes against everything that I expect from a non-fiction book. I am really disappointed. EDIT: Not to mention that nearly half of the book is the copied report about Bengazhi.
