About the author

Dr. Shakeb Akhtar is currently a lecturer at the University of Technology and Applied Science, Ibra, Oman. He holds an MFC and PhD in Banking and Finance from Aligarh Muslim University, India. He specialises in accounting and finance-related courses and has over 10 years of teaching experience in accounting and finance at both tertiary and senior high school levels. Previously he was Program Director (MBA-FS), Chair Professor, Research Coordinator, and Examination Cell Head in the School of Business, Woxsen University, Hyderabad, India. His research interest is in the banking industry, behavioural economics, and secondary data analysis techniques. He has made significant contributions to the research community by publishing in prestigious journals indexed in ABDC, ABS, Scopus, and Web of Science journals with 31 publications.

Dr. Mahfooz Alam, a faculty instructor at the University of the People in Pasadena, CA, USA, holds an MBA and Ph.D. in Finance from Aligarh Muslim University, India. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor at GLA University, Mathura, and ICFAI University, Dehradun. Dr. Alam's research interests span Asset Pricing, Behavioural Finance, Mutual Funds performance, and Islamic Banking and Finance. His work has been published in esteemed journals like the International Journal of Emerging Markets, Journal of Asset Management, and International Journal of Islamic and Middle Eastern Finance and Management.

Dr. Nassir Ul Haq Wani completed his PhD in International Business and Trade from Mittal School of Business, Lovely Professional University (LPU) India. He currently serves as the Dean and Professor of the Department of Research and Development at Kardan University (ACBSP and IACBE Accredited) in Kabul, Afghanistan. Additionally, he is the Director at the Kashmir Research Information System (KRIS) in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir, India, and a Professor, of International Trade and Finance at Presidency University, Bengaluru, India. Dr. Wani is an accomplished author, focusing primarily on Afghanistan's economy, BRICS, SAARC, Central Asia, and ASEAN. His book, "Policy Solutions for Economic Growth in a Developing Country: Perspectives on Afghanistan’s Trade and Development," is highly regarded. With over 60 research papers, articles, and commentaries in prestigious journals indexed in WoS, Scopus, ABDC, Kardan Publishing, and Scimago, Dr. Wani has a decade of extensive academic and research experience. He has also contributed to numerous training, research, and consulting projects funded by the World Bank, KMF, USAID, CARE International Canada, GAC, and HEDP in South and Central Asia.

Syed Hasan Jafar, Area Chair of Finance at Woxsen University, boasts 13 years of experience in Finance, with roles including Research Analyst, Deputy Research Head, and Corporate Trainer. A financial expert, he frequently appears on national media channels to share his insights on the financial market. Specializing in Security Analysis, Corporate Finance, Equity and Derivative Research, and Valuation, he has conducted sessions at top universities in India and abroad. Awarded Best Faculty of the Year 2020-21 at Woxsen School of Business, he has also conducted over 50 Investor awareness programs nationwide and received multiple awards as Best Research Analyst during his corporate tenure.
