परब्रह्म कौन है? इस विषय में इस जम्बूद्वीप या इसके अजनाभ खंड की क्या बात करें सारे द्वीपों के साधु संतो ंके अलग अलग विचार हैं और सत्य तो यही है कि साकार रूप के भक्त मात्र साकार को ही परब्रह्म मानते हैं और इसमें भी अलग अलग मतभेद हैं क्योंकि श्रीकृष्ण के भक्त श्रीकृष्ण के अलावा और सबको दास मात्र मानते हैं और शैव भक्त मात्र पंचमुखी सदाशिव जी को ही सर्वोपरी तथा साकेत चाहने वाले श्री राम जी के भक्त मात्र दो भुजा वाले मर्यादापुरुषोत्तम श्रीराम को ही परब्रह्म मानते हैं और चतुर्भुजी नारायण प्रभु के भक्त यह कहते हैं कि राम जी तो हमारे नारायण के एक नवीन अवतार मात्र हैं अतः शाश्वत और सनातन तो पुरुष सूक्त के वैकुण्ठ के नायक महालक्ष्मी वल्लभ ही हैं सभी अवतार इन नारायण के ही हैं अतः नारायण ही परब्रह्म है । आदि आदि और संप्रदायवाद के विचार तो सब लोग जानते ही हैं। पर सबका एक ही स्थिति में कल्याण हो सकता है यदि सबमें एक ही परम सत्ता निहारें।
