After evading several attacks in the mountains, Leila realizes the danger may be linked to her past. And soon the case becomes even more personal when Leila's twin sister is abducted. Can Leila and TJ save her before another innocent life is taken?

Cleverly written with skillful misdirection, this book kept me guessing. Leila Kane is a homicide detective who is being stalked by a serial killer. She finds she has to trust her former partner and fiancé TJ to keep her safe and to help her find the perpetrator. The action is non-stop and the tension escalates relentlessly. This is a great book to read in one sitting because it is unputdownable. All opinions expressed are my own.

About the author

Shannon Redmon remembers the first grown-up book she checked out from the neighborhood bookmobile. A Victoria Holt novel, with romance, intrigue, and ballroom parties, encouraged her desire to create inspiring stories. Her first novel, Cave of Secrets, started this amazing writing journey and she has multiple books published by Love Inspired Suspense. When she's not writing, you can find her spending time with her husband, two boys and her two cats in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
