About this ebook

I needed a miracle.

What I got was a cocky, late-as-hell comedian with too many jokes and a smile that could ruin lives.

Sharing a cross-country road trip with Anthony Bronson wasn’t part of my five-year plan, but when a once-in-a-lifetime job interview lands on the opposite coast and my bank account laughs in my face, desperate times call for cocky measures.

He’s messy where I’m meticulous.

Loud where I’m quiet.

And somehow, in between pit stops, comedy clubs, and too many shared hotel beds… he starts to feel like home.

This was supposed to be a ride. Just a ride.

So why does it feel like fate?

3.5⭐️ This was a fun and (mostly) lighthearted rom-com with two very opposite main characters. Anthony's outgoing charisma clashed with Emmerson's studious, buttoned-up outer shell. Their banter - or lack of - cracked me up repeatedly while reading. Hart used the experiences they shared while traveling to allow them to see things from the other's perspective, and maybe to pick up a thing or two along the way.

This opposites attract/forced proximity romance was a fun read. Due to financial problems Emerson and Anthony, decide to join together and drive across country for work. They have nothing in common but soon find themselves catching feelings. It has plenty of drama and fell good moments to keep readers happy! Its a solid 5 star read!!!. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
