I love this series so it is so nice to have the first three all in one place. I adore the children and the premise behind the source of magic the MC finds she has. The mystery solving group they form is such a great idea and works so well. There is so much to love in these books! From the atypical main characters, including the ghost of the former Lord of the manor, humor, the innovative magic use, Kali appearing, and the mysteries that need solved. If you are looking for a clean mystery with a side of magic and slight humor, this is one of the best I have read. The first three stories in the Outside the Circle Mystery series. The stories are Book 1: Death Takes a Detour, Book 2: Death Shifts Gears and Book 3: Death Smells Disaster, all are dealing with Abbie and the mysteries she will be solving. The stories held my interest and were all well worth reading. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
