Wollosky's work resembles more a collection of independent essays rather than a handbook or a sequentially ordered treaty on poetry.
Each chapter comes with several selected poems: I enjoyed both reading the poems and the explanations given by the author.
As I am not used to reading poetry in English I felt I was being introduced to English poetry while reviewing and learning new literary concepts.
