SHIRLEY TALLMAN, the author of the Sarah Woolson mysteries ( Murder on Nob Hill, The Russian Hill Murders, etc.), moved to San Francisco at an early age. She and her husband, Bob, live in Eugene, Oregon, where she works as a novelist and screenwriter.
